DHS is also reporting more hospitalizations. There are now over one thousand people in the hospital with the virus. DHS is not saying who is testing positive or who is driving the spike in hospitalizations.

The governor yesterday said a lack of social distancing and a ‘low adherence to mitigation measures’ is driving the state’s coronavirus spike. The governor said some of the reluctance to follow the rules is coming from President Trump. Wisconsin saw another 37-hundred positive tests yesterday.

She said without the new health rules, that uncertainty will continue. Giese isn’t saying just what the “health expectations” are.

This document shares proven strategies for community members, for public and private spaces and for public and private gatherings to slow the spread of COVID-19. These strategies are similar to what has been included previously in our local Order. Note that all organizations (such as schools, businesses, childcares) have the same expectations in this document that
have been under the local order previously. One change is that we lay out the expectation to keep gatherings small—any public or private gathering of more than 25 people is strongly discouraged.
