WI PUSHES TO VOTE SAFE

The latest push to make the November election as safe and secure as possible has something that’s rarely seen in Wisconsin, agreement from both Republicans and Democrats.

A group of current Democratic elected officials and a group of former Republican elected officials yesterday announced the VoteSafe initiative. The idea is to make sure that there is both in-person and absentee voting this fall. But, the group’s co-chair former Wisconsin Republican Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said absentee voting must be secure. He has no problems with voting by mail, but is concerned about mass-mailing absentee ballot applications to homes across the state.
