OHHHHH, AHHHHH…..

OHHHHH, AHHHHH…..

Happy 4th of July!

Today Is Independence Day. A quick history 101 lesson reminds us that on this day in 1776, the Declaration of Independence was approved.  The occasion is now used by Americans to mark the day to celebrate independence from the British.

Despite this being a year of celebrations that might not follow the same template as years past, we all get creative as we look to the skies to celebrate America’s Independence Day.

When it comes to local fireworks, you can plan to look high in the sky tonight and CLICK HERE for more information on the local show as well as a soundtrack that will play along with them on our own stations here at Midwest Family. CLICK HERE to dial in more info and land on the songs to accompany your day’s festivities and the fireworks show tonight.

From our family to yours, wishing you a safe and happy 4th of July.

“Liberty is the breath of life to nations.” — George Bernard Shaw

And also, a reminder from our Eau Claire Police Department:

Freedom is not free, and to all those who have, are, and will someday serve to ensure the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness in the land of those freedoms, we salute and thank you.
