SCHOOL AID ESTIMATES RELEASED

Most of Wisconsin’s local schools are getting more money from the state.

The Department of Public Instruction yesterday released its general school aid estimate for the next school year. DPI says, overall, schools will split about five billion-dollars. That’s up three-and-a-half percent from the last school year. Not every school will see more though. DPI says 114 of the state’s 421 school districts will see less money from Madison.
