WIAA LOOKING AT FALL SPORTS PLAYBOOK

A decision about whether there will be high school sports in Wisconsin will likely come later this month.

The WIAA, the people who run high school sports in the state, yesterday said they want more time to see just what is going on with the coronavirus. The WIAA released guidelines for summer sports a few weeks ago. Deputy director Wade Labecki says the guidelines for fall sports will likely expand on those. The big question for sports is tied to the big question for schools, and that is who will be open this fall and what will things look like?
