It’s not normally the kind of thing that would make the news, but this year hasn’t been normal, and so we SLIDE into the summer with some playgrounds opening.
Most of the parks and playgrounds in the Chippewa Valley are open. Public health managers closed the playgrounds this spring because of the coronavirus outbreak. Chippewa Falls Parks Director Dick Hebert says they are telling people to wash their hands, and to be mindful of the risks of the virus.
