The D.A. in Eau Claire is moving ahead with the case against a man accused of a drunken high-speed chase, and of threatening to kill a police officer.
Prosecutors say David Marin hit speeds of 95 miles-per-hour as he tried to run from officers in Eau Claire last Tuesday. Once he was caught near Lake Hallie, police say Martin threatened to kill one of the officers who arrested him. Martin is being held on 15 thousand-dollars bond.
