The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration announced a $450,285 million grant award to the City of Chippewa Falls as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, signed by President Donald J. Trump on March 27, 2020.
The city will use the funds for public transit operating, maintenance and vehicle replacement expenses during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
