FRIDAY FEEL GOOD: ERASING THE STIGMA, CELEBRATING HOPE

FRIDAY FEEL GOOD: ERASING THE STIGMA, CELEBRATING HOPE

Each Friday we like to end your week (Or, start your weekend…depending on which you prefer!) with a positive story. Hopefully, it makes you smile, or infuses your day with a little boost of spirits.

For this week, we have two stories. First we go to the West Coast. A group of inmates in California have been making personal protective equipment for first responders.

They’ve made over 3,000 face shields, and prepared enough fabric for thousands of face masks.  They say they wanted to find a way to help, and prove that the mistakes they’ve made in the past don’t define who they are moving forward.

From there, we meet a guy in Missouri who lived through the Spanish Flu and World War Two just recently beat the coronavirus on his 107th birthday.  His grandkids weren’t sure if he’d pull through, but he did.

Giving all of us a little a reason to celebrate.

YOU CAN HEAR THE FRIDAY FEEL GOOD EVERY FRIDAY AT 2:45pm ON GREATEST HITS 98.1
