STATE OF THE TRIBES AT CAPITOL

Wisconsin’s eleven Indian tribes will update lawmakers on their needs today.

The annual State of the Tribes will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Capitol in Madison. Ned Daniels, Jr., who is the Chairman of the Forest County Potawatomi Community will deliver the speech. Tribal leaders in Wisconsin have been speaking to lawmakers and leaders at the Capitol since 2005.
