The flu has arrived in the Chippewa Valley.
Eau Claire’s city/county health department says seven people have been admitted to the hospital with the flu so far. Over the past 10 days, doctors at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital say they’ve seen 20 confirmed cases of the flu. Doctors say the flu shot is always your best bet not to get sick.
If you do get sick, doctors say stay at home and don’t spread the flu to coworkers or friends
