A man accused of plotting to rape and kill a woman in Trempealeau County is going to prison.
Chad Anderson pleaded guilty in the case in September and was sentenced Monday to two years in prison followed by a year of extended supervision. Anderson and Ryan Gunderson planned to kill the woman last October but their plan was stopped when Gunderson was shot by the Strum police chief.
