One person is dead and another person is hurt following a two-motorcycle crash in Pierce County.
The county sheriff’s office says Kathy Kahler was riding her motorcycle north on Highway 35 near Diamond Bluff Sunday afternoon when she lost control at a high rate of speed, hit a guardrail, and was thrown from her bike.
Ian Gardiner tried to avoid Kahler’s motorcycle but crashed and was also thrown from his bike. Kahler was pronounced dead at the scene and Gardiner was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
