The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is getting a federal grant to help create programs to prevent sexual assault and domestic violence in the community.
The 300-thousand-dollar grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice. The university will use the money to expand their prevention programs and to create a trauma training plan for everyone on campus. Officials also want to train staff at local bars to recognize the signs of sexual assault and learn how to report it.
