A former Minnesota deputy will spend the better part of the next decade behind bars for trying to have sex with a 15-year-old girl.
A judge in Barron County yesterday sentenced Jeffrey Masek to eight years in prison. Barron County authorities arrested Masek last spring after he tried to set-up a meeting with a teenage girl. He was really texting undercover officers.
