In other news for Packers fans, most of the people who spoke at Bart Starr’s public memorial remembered the man, not the football player. Hundreds of people turned-out to remember Starr at a ceremony in his home state of Alabama yesterday. He died last month after years of failing health. Starr’s family says they’re still planning for a public memorial in Green Bay some time this fall.
