The Eau Claire City-County Health Department is seeking assistance
in locating a dog that bit a woman, Monday, May 6, 2019, at approximately 3:00 p.m.
The bite occurred along a walking trail in the general vicinity of Eddy Lane near the City of Eau Claire’s Water Treatment Plant.
The dog was unleashed, and the owner was not present. The dog was described as being mostly white in color with some brown mixed in.
The health and rabies status needs to be determined. If anyone has information about these animals they should contact the Eau Claire Communications Center at 715-839-4972.
