Governor Tony Evers says he has to get more money for roads, more money for schools, and more money for healthcare in the new state budget.
The governor stopped in Eau Claire for a budget listening session yesterday. He heard pleas from local teachers and addiction specialists who asked for more money. The governor told the State Journal later in the day that he’ll veto any state budget that doesn’t give him what he wants.
So he takes money from these areas to pay his people more money. Then tells the tax payers they have to pay more to get the programs he stole money from.
