DRILLING DOWN ON FIRE DRILLS?

DRILLING DOWN ON FIRE DRILLS?

School kids across Wisconsin could soon get a heads-up about the next fire drill or school safety drill.

Lawmakers in Madison are considering a plan that would allow local schools to warn students before any drills.  The idea comes after parents in Madison complained that a school shooter drill left their kids traumatized.  Current Wisconsin law says fire drills and tornado drills are to be held without warning.  The law gives schools more leeway on school shooting drills.
