Lawmakers in Madison are waiting for two judges to rule on two questions about the December reforms that were placed on hold last week.
One judge, in Madison, says he’ll rule today on a question about the separation of powers. The other judge, in an appeal court, could also rule today on whether the entire package of laws are constitutional. Republican lawmakers yesterday said almost no one wants to do much of anything until the cases are decided.
