A pair of Wisconsin deputies are being hailed as heroes after they rescued two bear cubs from a flooded den.
Ashland County Sheriff’s deputies Zach Pierce and Dylan Wegner reportedly heard the tiny bears screaming from their flooded den near the Bad River Indian Reservation on Friday. The deputies dried the soaking wet bears off, warmed them up and left them for their mother who was apparently waiting nearby.
