A Colfax man is going to prison for nine months after being convicted of a 2015 child sexual assault.
A criminal complaint says a young boy told police 52-year-old Joseph Schindler touched him inappropriately over the span of about a month and Schindler allegedly admitted to the touching. Schindler pleaded no contest to the crime and will also serve six months of probation after his jail sentence.
