FOXCONN FALLS SHORT

Foxconn is falling short of their job creation quota for 2018.  Foxconn spokesman Louis Woo says the company only created 178 full-time jobs.

This number is significantly lower than the 260 minimum required in a state contract with the company.  That means the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer will not receive any tax incentives this year.  In 2017, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation helped broker that tax incentive deal.
