Patients at an Eau Claire hospital are feeling the holiday spirit after getting a visit from volunteers on Christmas Eve. WEAU says there were nearly 100 patients at HSHS Sacred Heart who couldn’t go home for Christmas, but some volunteers made sure to keep them company. They came around to every patient and gave them an ornament and spent time with them. One volunteer said he just wanted the patients to know people were thinking about them.
