FORMER UW OFFICIAL FINDS NEW JOB AFTER OWI

A former University of Wisconsin System official who resigned after an OWI conviction is getting a new job.  Jessica Tormey was the vice president of university relations and chief of staff to the system president before the drunk driving incident back in the fall of 2017.

She was paid over 50-thousand-dollars to resign in January and was also accused of sexual harassment following her departure.  She just recently took a new position as a fundraiser at a Madison charter school that’s approved by the U-W System.
