The La Crosse Community Foundation is planning to give thousands of dollars to multiple local non-profits.
The foundation’s program director says about 15 different organizations will be surprised with pop-in style donations rather than them asking for donations. The La Crosse Tribune reports the donations are in honor of the world-wide program Giving Tuesday where people are asked to give extra to their favorite charities.
