An animator of classic cartoons is spending time in Eau Claire. Ron Campbell was in town yesterday and is best known for his work on The Beatles TV series and the animated film Yellow Submarine. Campbell says he got into animation as a kid trying to grasp the concept behind the Tom and Jerry cartoons. He’s also done work on such prominent cartoons as The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Rugrats, and Ed, Edd, and Eddie.
