A Neillsville man is facing new charges after a lead foot chase through Eau Claire County. That began yesterday afternoon on Highway 53 and County Highway HH when a Trooper tried to stop a vehicle for speeding.
The vehicle, driven by 42-year-old Douglas Polzin, took off and eventually crashed into a ditch on County Highway D, where he ran from the scene. The escape wasn’t long lived, he was located nearby and taken into custody.
