On Thursday morning JUST before 730 a call of a two vehicle crash on Hwy 8 east of Almena was reported. Initial investigation shows a Ford Taurus driven by 77 year old MaryAnn Desilvio, of Almena, was stopped on Hwy 8 waiting to turn into her driveway when she was rear ended by a truck driven by 30 year old Travis Peterson, of Turtle Lake-there was also a passenger in the Taurus, 53 year old Donald Desilvio. All involved were taken to area hospitals.
Hwy 8 was closed for about three hours after the crash.
