FLOODS RAISE ALGAE THREAT

Environmentalists say recent floods could cause problems next year.  The Clean Lakes Alliance this week said that all of the rain that fell last month could lead to an outbreak of green-blue algae next year.

The Alliance is worried there could be a real problem across a large part of southern Wisconsin.  Blue-green algae can make people sick, but it can be deadly for dogs and cats and other pets.
