It’s the Kabat-Kibosh in LaCrosse as Mayor Tim Kabat’s veto of a nearly 50-million dollar expansion project for the La Crosse Center will stand.
Less than a month after the mayor killed the proposal, the Common Council failed to get enough votes to override his veto at a meeting lastnight. Its back to the drawing board for the LaCrosse Center Board as they are meeting today to discuss the next steps in the design process.
