In Chippewa, it was fire sirens as six people are injured after a fire at St. Joseph’s apartment building on Pearl Street.
Fire officials say the fire started on a mattress on the second story, but there’s no word on how it happened. The fire damaged at least ten of the 76 apartments. Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, including a firefighter with injuries to his hand. Three others were treated on-scene.
