Menomonie Police say they’ve recently gotten several reports of credit card skimmers in the area.
So, what should you be aware of when you are filling up? You will want to look carefully at a gas pump or ATM to check and see if it looks like other payment terminals are around or looks out of place. Another thing to watch for is sketchy credit card slot or the pin pad being loose or out of place-that could be another sign of a potential skimmer.
Police are investigating the reports.
