A man is in custody after a three hour standoff with authorities at a bank in Prairie Farm.
That all started yesterday afternoon when The Barron County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a person at Dairy State Bank yelling and saying people were going to be dead. The man eventually left the bank, but deputies tracked the man to his home, where he barricaded himself in.
SWAT was called in and after negotiations didn’t work, authorities went in and got the man out.
